Prospective students dropped off on a cluttered site, the enrolment flow was cumbersome and the editorial team struggled with an outdated system. On top of that, students, parents and teachers all had to feel at home.

We designed clear routes per audience and streamlined the path from orientation to enrolment.

The result

The number of enrolments rose by 21%, and the editorial team now keeps the portal up to date effortlessly. One platform that works for every audience.

Behind the scenes

No polished success story — this is what we ran into along the way:

  • Three audiences each wanted to ‘own’ the homepage — solved with a route choice above the fold.
  • The enrolment flow went from nine to five steps after drop-off tests.
  • Peak traffic around open days called for extra caching that was not there at first.
