Something that works every roundThe code becomes yours
Short answer

Web development is building the technology under a website: integrations with other systems, the content management system and features that go further than pages with text and images. Empireyo builds that custom work for companies across the Netherlands, since 2014. A project usually starts from € 1000 and takes two to four weeks. A fixed price after one conversation, a test version on its own link along the way, and at delivery the code and login details become yours.

Sound familiar?

Four things that often come up.

Almost every first conversation starts with one of these four.

01

The site is slow

Pages that stall on a phone, a form that pauses to think first. Nobody can say what causes it.

What we do

Before launch we measure how fast every screen loads, on a phone and on an ordinary connection. Whatever does not make it, we fix, and you see what was measured.

02

Every change breaks something else

Something gets adjusted and somewhere else something breaks. After a few times nobody dares to change anything.

What we do

We build in short rounds and put every change on a test version first. Whatever is wrong there does not reach your real site.

03

You depend on one supplier

For every change you wait until someone else has time. The login details sit somewhere you cannot reach.

What we do

The code, the content management system and the login details go in your name. If you ever want to continue with someone else, you take the whole package with you.

04

The technology decides what is possible

You want something simple and the system cannot handle it. Your company adapts to the software, while it should be the other way round.

What we do

We start from what your work needs to do and choose the technology after that. What is possible with your current systems, we work out before a single line of code exists.

Built for Taxi Sittard, Taal Pro & Daily Phones among others. All seventeen clients are listed on about us.

What you get

What exactly gets built.

Nine parts, from the screens to the handover. All of it is part of the project.

Which connections are possible we work out in the setup. You know before anything is built.

01

The side your visitor sees

We build the screens with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3, in TypeScript. Pages are prepared on the server, so a search engine reads the same text as your visitor.

02

Managing your own text and photos

If you want to manage text, photos and pages yourself, a content management system goes around it: Directus. The same content can appear in more than one place without you entering it twice.

03

Logging in and data

A private section where customers or staff log in: accounts, permissions and the database we arrange with Supabase. Everyone sees only what is meant for them.

04

Integrations with what you already use

Accounting, scheduling, stock or payment system: we connect the site to what is already running. Which integrations are possible, we work out in the blueprint, before the build starts.

05

Speed that is measured

Before launch we measure how fast the site loads, on a phone and on an ordinary connection. Whatever is too slow, we adjust before it goes live.

06

From test to live, in one action

Changes go to the test version first, and only then to the real site. Where the site runs is your call; we advise, set it up and hand it over.

07

A test version you can share

Along the way there is always a working version on its own link, ready to open on your phone and forward to a colleague or a customer.

08

Everything goes in your name

The code, the content management system, the integrations and the login details become your property at delivery.

09

Explanation and handover

After launch we show how the content management system works. Small things you then do yourself, bigger changes run through us.

A system that is yours. The code, the content management system and the login details go in your name.

Your content in your own hands. You change text, photos and pages yourself, without code.

Speed that has been measured. Measured before launch on a phone and an ordinary connection.

Our approach

Four steps, from conversation to live.

One conversation, a blueprint you look at with us, and then building in short rounds. Usually two to four weeks.

01

Conversation and plan

One conversation about which work you now do by hand, which systems you use and where it goes wrong. After that we set down what gets built, what it costs and when it is there.

You get: A proposal on one A4 page with a fixed price · within a few days

02

Blueprint

We draw out how the whole thing fits together: which data comes from where and what needs to be connected. If a system cannot handle something, you know it now.

You get: A clickable design and a drawing of how everything hangs together · week 1

03

Build and integrations

Building, filling and connecting in short rounds. At the end of every round there is something that works on a test link. Integrations we test with real data.

You get: A test version on its own link, to share with whoever you want · week 2 to 3

04

Checks and launch

Speed, how it looks on a phone, whether it works without a mouse, and whether the integrations do what they should. Then live, with an explanation of the content management system.

You get: Live, with the login details and a short explanation; everything is yours · a few days

Work that runs every day

Three systems running today.

You can open them yourself. In all three, the calculating, booking or ordering happens on the site itself.

Taxi Sittard

Transport · Sittard and South Limburg

A quoting and booking platform: travellers work out for themselves what a ride costs, for South Limburg, airport transfers and group transport, and book straight away. Calculating and booking happen in the same environment.

Taal Pro

Education · nationwide

An e-learning and course platform. Students choose a course, from civic integration to business Dutch at C2 level, and book their lessons and coaching online.

Daily Phones

Retail and telecoms · Dokkum and Harlingen

An e-commerce and service platform: the online shop for new and refurbished phones, the online face of the shops and the repair service run on one system.

Investment

What it costs, roughly.

A project usually starts from € 1000, one off. What it becomes for you depends on these five things.

Fixed price
from € 1000
Two to four weeksfrom the first conversation to live
The code and login details are yoursthe whole package in your name
Integrations checked firstyou know what is possible before anything gets built

Integrations with other systems

Accounting, scheduling, stock, payments, CRM or ERP: every integration is separate work.

A content management system

If you want to manage text and pages yourself, an environment is built around it, shaped to your kind of content.

Login areas and portals

Accounts, permissions, and deciding per role what is visible.

An online shop

Products, stock, shipping and the integration with your payment system are a part of their own.

More than one language

Every language is an extra version of every screen, form and page in the content management system.
Why Empireyo

Why people stay.

Everything we build becomes your property, so anyone who wants to leave can leave. That keeps us sharp.

01

One point of contact, specialists behind it

You call the person who builds it. Behind that one number sit five senior specialists: design, brand, build, architecture and growth.

02

A fixed price after one conversation

Even for custom work the amount is fixed after that one conversation. If something is added, we discuss it first, with a price attached.

03

Everything goes in your name

The code, the content management system, the integrations and the login details become yours at delivery. Anyone who wants to leave can leave.

04

Since 2014

Seventeen organisations work with things made here, from a fare calculator to a course platform and an online shop with a repair service.

Honest is honest: what we do not do

No custom work when it is not needed

Sometimes what you want fits inside a website or inside the system you already pay for. Then we say so.

No promise of an integration we have not checked

Whether a system can be connected, we work out in the blueprint. What is not possible, you hear then.

Nothing straight onto your real site

Every change goes to the test version first. Only when it is right there does it go to the environment where your customers come.

No figures you cannot check

No scores, gauges or graphs that nobody can verify. What we measure on your project, we show with the measurement alongside.

Frequently asked

Good to know.

What does a custom project cost with you?+
A project usually starts from € 1000, one off. After one conversation the price is fixed. It goes higher mainly through integrations, a content management system, a login area, an online shop and more than one language.
How long does it take?+
Usually two to four weeks, from conversation to live. That depends on the size and on how fast you deliver material and respond to the test version. A firm date is set in the first conversation.
Who writes the text?+
Either way works. If you write it yourself, you keep it in your own hands; if you want us to do it, we say in advance whether that is in the package. Whatever is added later, you put in the content management system yourself.
Who owns it when it is finished, and where does it run?+
You do: the code, the content management system, the integrations and the login details go in your name. Where it runs is your call; we advise what suits your visitors and your budget, set it up and hand it over, or keep it under maintenance.
Can I change it myself later?+
Small things yes, in the content management system: a text, a photo, a page. Bigger changes to the structure or to an integration run through us. You stay free to choose who does it.
How much of my time does this take?+
One conversation, then two moments of looking in: at the blueprint and during the build. You supply what already exists: text, images and the data from your systems.
What happens after launch?+
We stay reachable for questions, even if you buy nothing. Handing over updates, security and search visibility is possible with a maintenance plan from € 120 per month. Not a condition.
What do you build it with?+
The screens with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3 in TypeScript, with Tailwind CSS. The content management system with Directus, and logging in, permissions and data with Supabase. Proven technology, open enough to connect to what you have.
Can you integrate with our CRM or ERP, and can customers log in?+
In almost all cases yes, as with accounting, scheduling, stock and payment systems. What exactly is possible, we work out in the blueprint. Logging in for customers or staff we arrange with Supabase; who is allowed to see what, we set down before anything gets built.
When do I need development and when web design?+
An ordinary website with pages, images and a contact form is web design, from € 650, build included. As soon as an integration, a private area or a web app is added, it is development. In the first conversation we say which of the two you need.
What if one of our systems allows no integration?+
Then you hear that in the blueprint already. We say what is possible and what that means for the plan and the price.
