What data we process
We only process data you give us yourself or that is technically required to keep the site running. Specifically: data from the contact and project form (your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, and what you tell us about your project), data you share when you email, call or message us via WhatsApp, and limited technical data in server logs (such as IP address and timestamp) kept by our hosting provider for security and stability. This website uses no advertising trackers and builds no visitor profiles. We measure statistics with Google Analytics 4, only after your consent via the cookie banner (processor: Google Ireland Ltd.; US transfers under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). You can decline or withdraw at any time, see the cookie statement.
Why, and on what basis
We use your data to answer your enquiry, follow up on an introduction or proposal and, if you become a client, to perform the agreement and invoice the work. The legal bases are the performance of the (upcoming) agreement, our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and securing our systems, and the statutory bookkeeping obligation for invoices.
Who we share data with
We never sell data. We only share it with service providers we need in order to work: the processor of our web form (Web3Forms, for delivering your message), our hosting and email providers, and our bookkeeping where invoices are concerned. If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, Meta’s terms also apply. We make confidentiality and security arrangements with processors.
How long we keep data
Messages and proposal trajectories that do not lead to an assignment are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact, so we can answer a follow-up question in context. Records subject to a fiscal retention duty are kept for seven years. After that, the data is deleted.
Security
The connection to this site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is limited to those who need it, systems are kept up to date, and the scan tool on this site runs entirely in your own browser: those answers never leave your device.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. Send a request to hi@empireyo.com; we respond within four weeks. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We update this statement when our way of working changes. The version date at the top tells you when that last happened.
