Anyone with damage from gas extraction faces an institution.
MijnbouwSubsidie helps people affected by mining damage in Groningen through their process with the Groningen Mining Damage Institute (IMG): from the first report to an objection against a decision. For private individuals, farmers and small businesses.
The site had to make two things clear straight away. That the help costs the affected resident nothing, because the government pays for it through the subsidy scheme. And that you can request that help directly, without first working out who to ask.
We made the logo and brand identity, designed every screen and built the site in WordPress, with pages on compensation, objections and way of working, and articles that answer the questions of affected residents.
From symbol to one form for every request for help.
| Part | What it is | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Logo and brand identity | A round symbol with wavy lines in green, next to Mijnbouw Subsidie. Forest green and lime, all in Work Sans. | Calm and trustworthy, for a subject that affects people. |
| Costs first | The first card on the homepage: free legal help, own contribution zero. | The first question of an affected resident is what it costs. |
| Requesting help | Free intake, damage check and direct help all lead to one short form: name, email, phone, place of residence and your message. | Anyone who needs help should be able to ask for it in one step. |
| Objections and compensation | Pages of their own for compensation, objecting to the IMG and the way of working. | Every step in the process gets its own explanation. |
| Articles | 13 articles, from a step-by-step plan for an objection to the loss of value of your home. | Affected residents search for their own question. |
| Questions | Frequently asked questions on the homepage, also as FAQPage in the structured data. | Search engines and AI assistants can take over the answers as they are. |
From first question to free help.
The homepage starts with what it costs: nothing. Then come objections, compensation and the form to request help.
