Anyone who has to learn Dutch is often stuck on rules explained in another language.
TaalPro is an online school for Dutch as a second language. Lessons are live by video, from A1 to C2, in a small group or one-to-one. If you like, the explanations come in Farsi, Dari or English.
Many learners need an exam for their residence, their civic integration or their studies: the exam abroad for an mvv visa, the civic integration exam or the State Exam NT2. Which exam that is, and exactly what DUO, the IND and the municipality ask for, is hard for a newcomer to work out.
The brief: a school that takes that work away. A site where you read in your own language which exam you need, at which level you start and which course fits, before you have entered so much as an email address.
We made the logo and brand identity, designed every screen and built the site in Astro: 159 pages in Dutch, English and Farsi, with eight free tools and 23 guides per language.

Every page exists three times, with an address of its own per language. Farsi turns the whole layout around, with Vazirmatn as the typeface; the language switch sits at the top of every page.

Eight free tools answer a newcomer's first questions. None of them asks for an email address; the level test keeps the answers in your own browser only.

The logo mark is a purple speech bubble with two lines inside, one white and one orange, set at a slight angle. Orange is the colour of the buttons; every level has a colour of its own, from red orange for A1 to amber for C1.

Readable for search engines and AI assistants.
Anyone asking Google or an AI assistant which exam they need should get an answer that is right, with the source attached. That is why the site describes itself in three languages, in more ways than HTML alone.
