Web design that
brings in clients
A design of your own, built around your visitor and the enquiry you want. Fixed price after one conversation, usually live within two to four weeks.
Built for Atiq Tandartsen, Daily Phones and Ikiz among others · since 2014 · from Zwolle, for the whole of the Netherlands
Web design is the work of shaping how a website looks and how a visitor moves through it. Empireyo designs and builds websites for companies across the Netherlands, since 2014. A project usually starts from € 650 and takes two to four weeks. The price is fixed after one conversation, and after delivery everything is yours.
Four things that often come up.
Almost every first conversation starts with one of these four.
The site looks older than the company
Your work has got better, your site has not. New visitors see the design first and your craftsmanship only after that.
We start from what you are worth now, not from what was built three years ago.
Visitors arrive, but nobody calls
Your statistics show visitors, your diary shows nothing. Somewhere between the first look and the contact form they drop out.
We map the route to the enquiry before any colour goes in.
On a phone it falls apart
On your laptop it looks fine. On a phone the text jumps and the button is hard to hit.
Every screen is designed for a phone first, because that is where most of your visitors arrive.
The competition looks sharper
Their work is no better than yours, their site is. That is what a new client compares first.
A design of your own instead of the same theme your neighbour bought.
Built for Atiq Tandartsen, Daily Phones & Ikiz among others. All seventeen clients are listed on about us.
What exactly gets made.
Nine parts, from the research to the keys. Everything is included in the project. And because colours, type and components are fixed as one set, every page that is added later still fits.
Who arrives and what they want
We map who comes to your site, what they are looking for and where it currently goes wrong. That way the route to the enquiry is fixed before anything is drawn. We use visitor figures if you have them.
Wireframes
The structure of every page in black and white: what goes where, and why. Changing something here takes half an hour, later in the build it costs days.
Visual design
The look that carries your brand: colour, typography, space and detail. If you have a house style we follow it; if you do not, we build a light version along the way.
One fixed set of colours and components
All colours, type and components as a single set. That way every new page fits, including the ones you add yourself later.
A clickable version up front
A clickable version you open on your own phone. You feel the site before anything has been built, and you can send it on to a colleague.
The handover to the build
Spacing, behaviour and exceptions are all set down. Without guesswork, so without surprises at delivery.
The build and the launch
The design becomes a working site: built, filled, tested and put live. This is included, so you do not need to find a separate party for it.
Speed and accessibility
We measure how fast the site is and whether it works with a keyboard, a screen reader and low contrast. Whatever falls short is fixed before launch.
Instructions with the keys
We show you how to change text and images yourself. Login details, design files and code are put in your name.
A site that is yours. Design, code and login details are put in your name.
A design system in Figma. One source for every screen that comes later.
Ready for the build. A clean handover. No differences of interpretation while building.
Four steps, from conversation to launch.
One conversation, two moments to look along, and we do the rest. Usually two to four weeks.
Conversation and plan
One conversation about your goal, your clients and what is missing now. After that we set out what will be made, what it costs and when it is ready. All you do is explain how your business works.
You get: A proposal on a single page with a fixed price · within a few days
Structure and design
First the structure in black and white: which pages there are and along which route someone reaches the contact form. Once that logic holds, the form goes in: colour, type, imagery and detail. You look along at two moments.
You get: A clickable design you open yourself and comment on · week 1
Build
The design becomes a working site: built, filled with your text and images, connected to whatever else is needed. Along the way there is always a version ready that you can open on your phone.
You get: A test version on its own link, shareable with anyone you like · week 2 to 3
Checks and launch
Everything is checked: speed, how it holds up on a phone, whether it works for people who see poorly or use no mouse, and whether Google can read the site properly. Then it goes live, with instructions.
You get: The site live, the login details and a short walkthrough · a few days
Three sites that are simply live today.
You can open them yourself. What they have in common: the site has to produce something, a registration, an order or a request for a quote.
Atiq Tandartsen
A practice website where new patients register on the site itself, with a separate, playful entrance for children's dentistry that does not make the practice look any less professional.
Daily Phones
A webshop for new and refurbished phones and accessories, plus the face of the shops and the certified repair service. One site that sells, shows the shops and takes in repairs.
Ikiz
Legal · Maastricht and nationwide
A site for a law firm in Maastricht. Legal aid for mining damage, from Groningen to Limburg, alongside criminal, social security and tenancy law. The specialisms are presented so that a visitor sees at a glance where to turn.
What it roughly costs.
A project usually starts from € 650. What it becomes for you depends on these six things.
Number of pages
A site of five pages is less work than one of forty.Imagery of your own
Illustrations or a photo shoot make a site recognisable, but they take time and sometimes a photographer.A webshop on top
Products, stock, shipping and payment are a world of their own next to the site.More than one language
Every extra language is more than translation: menu, forms and findability have to line up too.A cms on top
If you want to add pages yourself, we build a management area around it.Connections
Calendar, bookkeeping, stock or a payment system: every connection is custom work. After one conversation the amount is fixed. Anything extra we discuss beforehand, with a price attached.
Why people stay here.
Everything we make becomes your property, so anyone who wants to leave can leave. That is exactly why we do our best to make sure it does not come to that.
One point of contact
You call the person doing the work. No account manager who has to go and ask.A fixed price
After one conversation you know what it costs. Additional work is discussed beforehand, with a price attached.Everything becomes yours
Design, code and login details are your property after delivery, also if you ever want to continue with someone else.Since 2014
Not a promise, simply a fact. Seventeen organisations across the country work with something made here.
No promises about positions
Nobody can promise where you end up in Google, and neither can we. We do explain what we do and what that realistically brings. No chatbot on your homepage
Most of the time your visitor simply wants a phone number, a price or an opening time. We would rather put those on the screen. No new site if it is not needed
Sometimes your site is fine and the problem sits elsewhere. We say so, even though it earns us nothing. No invented figures
You will find no percentages, stars or scores here that nobody can check. What we cannot demonstrate does not go on the page.Good to know.
