Branding that
sticks with people
One set of mark, colour, type and tone that fits in every place: your site, your printed matter, your van. Fixed price after one conversation, usually ready within two to four weeks.
Built for Atiq Tandartsen, Daily Phones and Ikiz among others · since 2014 · from Zwolle, for the whole of the Netherlands
Branding is setting down how your company looks, sounds and comes across: positioning, logo, colour, type and tone. Empireyo builds brands from the core, since 2014, and captures everything in a brand book. A project usually starts from € 350 and takes two to four weeks. Fixed price after one conversation, and after delivery everything is yours: the brand book, the logo files, the templates and the design files.
Four things that often come up.
Almost every first conversation starts with one of these four.
A different look everywhere
Every part came about on its own, at a different moment, often through someone else. What applies where has never been agreed anywhere.
We set down one set: mark, colours, type, imagery and tone. It applies from the icon in the browser tab to the letters on your facade.
The quote does not look like the site
The quote looks different from the site, and the site different from the works van. Three different images.
We design for every place your brand turns up, including your documents, presentations and social. What applies where is in black and white in the brand book.
Customers do not remember your company
You deliver good work, but little of it sticks. Without your name next to it nobody knows it was you.
We start at the core: who you are, for whom, and why that matters. Imagery and words carry the same message after that.
Renewing feels risky
You want a fresher look, but you are afraid regular customers will no longer find you.
We keep what is recognisable and renew what holds you back, with a transition plan per channel. You are not suddenly someone else overnight.
Built for Taxi Road, Taal Pro & Ikiz among others. All seventeen clients are listed on about us.
What exactly gets made.
Eight parts, from the core to the templates. Everything is part of the project.
Who you are and for whom
What you stand for, who you work for and why that matters. The foundation under every choice that follows. A mark without a foundation stays loose sand.
Your logo and brand mark
A mark that works everywhere, from the icon in the browser tab to your facade, in the variants and sizes you actually use. This part alone can also be done separately, as logo and brand identity.
Colours and type
A palette and a typeface that carry your brand, with the codes for screen and print. A printer or a designer never has to pick a colour themselves.
Imagery that belongs with it
What kind of photos, illustrations and shapes suit your brand, with examples. So at the next photo shoot you know what you are looking for.
How your brand sounds
The tone you write in, from homepage to quote, and the core messages you keep telling. Anyone who writes something for you afterwards heads the same way.
The brand book
All the rules and the reasons behind them in one document. You use it yourself and pass it on to a printer or a photographer, so nobody has to guess.
Templates for daily use
Social, presentations and documents, ready to fill in. Whatever you make follows the system by itself.
Everything is put in your name
Brand book, logo files, templates and design files become your property on delivery. At the handover we show you how to use it.
All the rules and the reasons behind them in one document, for you, your printer and your photographer.
Recognisable without your name. One face in every place your brand turns up.
Everything follows the same system. No more sprawl. Whatever is added later fits in by itself.
Something to hold on to for anyone making things for you. Your colleagues, your printer and your photographer work from the same source.
Four steps, from core to brand book.
First who you are, then the form. One conversation, two moments to look along, and a brand book at the end.
Conversation and plan
One conversation about what you stand for, who you work for and where your look pulls apart at the moment. We look at what is already there. After that we set out what will be made and what it costs.
You get: A proposal on a single page with a fixed price · within a few days
The core
Before anything is drawn, we set down who you are, for whom and what you promise. You read it back and correct what is off, because it has to describe your company.
You get: Your positioning and your promise on one page, in plain words · week 1
Identity and language
Only now the visuals: logo, colours, type and visual language, and the tone your brand speaks in. You see it in the places where you really use it. At two moments you give your opinion.
You get: The identity on real applications, so you can get on with it · week 2 to 3
Setting it down and handover
Everything goes into the brand book: the rules, the reasons and the files. The templates are set up and we walk through how you work with them together.
You get: The brand book, the files and the templates, all yours · a few days
Three brands you come across today.
For all three, the brand, the logo and the brand identity come from us, alongside the site.
Taxi Road
An online booking platform: customers view rides, get in touch or reserve online for street transport, business rides and airport transfers. Alongside the platform we did the brand, the logo and the brand identity.
Taal Pro
An e-learning and course platform, from civic integration to business Dutch at C2 level, where learners book online lessons and coaching. The brand and the brand identity come from us as well.
Ikiz
Legal · Maastricht and nationwide
Legal aid for mining damage, from Groningen to Limburg, from an office in Maastricht. Brand, logo and brand identity come from us as well.
What it roughly costs.
A project usually starts from € 350, one-off. What it becomes for you depends on these six things.
A full brand story and tone of voice
Alongside the visuals also the words: your positioning, your core messages and the writing rules.A name on top
Coming up with a new name is a project of its own; everything after that hangs on it.More than one brand or label
Sub-brands, branches or product lines each get their own place in the system.More than one language
Your tone of voice has to be right in every language. The tone is chosen again per language. How many applications you want
A brand book with three templates is less work than a set for print, presentations and social.A brand that is already everywhere
Renewing comes with a transition plan per channel, and that takes time. After one conversation the amount is fixed. Anything extra we discuss beforehand, with a price attached.
Why people stay here.
The brand becomes yours, down to the files the design was made in. Anyone who wants to leave can leave.

One point of contact
You call the person doing the work. Behind that number sits a fixed circle of five senior specialists; brand is one of those fields, and that person is on your project.Fixed price after one conversation
A single page says what will be made, what it costs and when. If you want something extra along the way, you hear what that costs first. The brand becomes yours
Brand book, logo files, templates and design files are put in your name, down to the files the design was made in.Since 2014
Seventeen organisations across the country work with something made here, from a booking platform to a school website. We do not start with the drawing
First who you are and for whom, only then the form. If you really want a mark and nothing else, we point you to logo and brand identity. No renewal if it is not needed
Sometimes your brand is fine and the problem sits in your site or your findability. Then we say so.No promises about what a brand brings in
Nobody can say how many customers a new logo adds. We do tell you what we make and why.No brand book that ends up in a drawer
At the handover we walk through where you find what, so that you actually open it the week after.Good to know.
